PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland Pilots lost to the Oregon State Beavers 3-0 (15-25, 21-25, 16-25) Thursday at home at Chiles Center. The loss dropped Portland's record to 10-11 overall and 5-5 in WCC action.
Lucia Busso finished with 10 kills on the day to lead the Pilots offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .364. Portland got 7 digs from Tinoa Woodward-Hart to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Pilots fell behind early, losing a tough first set 25-15. Portland trailed by as many as 10 points as Oregon State grabbed the advantage for good at 3-2 in a set that was tied up three times before the Beavers took control.
SET 2 | A 25-21 set-two loss put Portland behind two sets to none in the match. The Pilots lost set two despite a solid performance on the attacking end. Portland put together a .320 attack percentage with 10 kills in the set loss.
SET 3 | Portland couldn't prolong the match and lost in set number three. The Pilots fell behind early and never took the lead before falling in the set 25-16.
