PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland volleyball team cruised to a straight-set victory (25-19, 25-17, 25-17) over Seattle U on Saturday at the Chiles Center. With the win, the Pilots improve to 8-6 overall and open conference play 3-0 for the first time in program history.
Maui Robins powered the Pilots' offense with a match-high 11 kills, while Taina Kaauwai and Lucia Busso added strong support. Kaauwai recording nine kills on a .583 clip and Busso contributing eight kills while hitting .400. On the defensive end, Tinoa Woodward-Hart led the way with a match-best nine digs.

SET 1 | Portland opened strong with a 25-19 win, hitting an impressive .581 with 19 kills. The Pilots built a 22-15 advantage and maintained control the rest of the way.
SET 2 | The Pilots kept rolling with a 25-17 win in the second set, never trailing after taking an early 1-0 lead. Portland used a late surge to stretch the margin to eight points and sealed the set behind four aces.
SET 3 | Portland completed the sweep with another 25-17 victory, fueled by a .423 hitting percentage and 13 kills. The Pilots jumped ahead 22-13 and closed out the match in convincing fashion.
