SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The Portland Pilots racked up the all-conference honors on Wednesday, with five different players earning recognition. Keeley Dockter highlighted the honorees, becoming the first Pilot to win WCC Defensive Player of the Year honors since Amanda Frisbie in 2013.
Dockter made the All-WCC First Team as well along with fellow defender Violet Rademacher. Sophia Hills earned All-WCC honors for the first time in her career, making the Second Team while defender Hailey Bagby and midfielder Aliyah Dockter each earned honorable mention.
Dockter played in all 19 games this season with 18 starts, adding two assists on the year. She played the third most minutes of any Pilots and was a linchpin in a defense that allowed just 12 goals in 19 contests. Portland's 12 goals allowed were the second fewest conceded in the WCC, in no small part due to Dockter. Portland's goals-against average of .632 was also second in the conference and the 17
th lowest in the nation.
Rademacher was a crucial part of the Pilot defense while also leading the way for the offense with seven goals, leading the Pilots and ranking sixth in the WCC in the category. Two of Rademacher's goals were game winners. Rademacher started every match for the Pilots this season and was also the minutes leader for Portland at 1,710.
Hills was one of the best goalkeepers in the WCC this season. In her first year starting full-time, she posted 57 saves with 11 goals allowed and 10 shutouts. She led the WCC in goals-against average at .595 and ranked 17
th nationally and her 10 shutouts ranked second in the conference and ninth nationally. Her save percentage of .838 was the second best in the conference and 32
nd nationally, and among Pilots it was the best by a keeper since 2022.
Bagby and Aliyah Dockter round out the honorees. Bagby scored two goals, being one of just five Pilots to score multiple goals on the year, while playing a key role as an wing back. Dockter scored two goals herself, with both of her goals being game winners, tied for the team lead.
The Pilots put together one of their best years in recent history in conference play, finishing with a 7-1-3 record against WCC opponents to finish tied for second in the league. Their second-place finish was the highest for the program since 2013 while their seven wins were their highest since that same year. Portland finished 10-3-6 overall for their third 10-plus win season in four years and their best winning percentage (.682) since that 2013 season as well.
