SPOKANE, Wash. — The Pilots swept the Gonzaga Bulldogs (25-19, 25-19, 25-20) on Saturday at the Charlotte Y. Martin Centre, improving to 14-14 overall and 9-8 in WCC play. This marks Portland's best conference record since 2016.
Elin Larsson paced the attack with 11 kills on .421 hitting, while Maui Robins matched her with 11 kills and totaled 16 points. Havannah Hoeft guided the offense with a match-high 34 assists and led the defense with eight digs.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Pilots took control of the set-one lead at 2-1 and never looked back to win 25-19. Portland led by as many as nine points at 14-5 before closing out the set, totaling 15 kills. Portland also supplemented their offense with five aces in the opening set.
SET 2 | After their win in the first set, Portland put themselves on the cusp of a sweep with a 25-19 victory in set number two. The Pilots grabbed the set with the help of a solid showing on the attacking end. Portland registered a .346 attack percentage with 14 kills in the set win. The Pilots opened up an 18-11 lead and coasted to victory from there. The Portland offense also got a boost from three aces in the set.
SET 3 | Portland finished off the match in a 3-0 sweep after winning set three. The Pilots grabbed control of the set early when the score was 2-1 and never looked back to win 25-20. Portland led by six points at 10-4 before finishing off the set.
