PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Pilots delivered an impressive performance at the Lewis & Clark College Electric Forest Open, securing multiple podium finishes and recording 12 personal bests across various events.
The Pilots dominated the 1500m and 5000m races. On the men's side, Jonas Gertsen clinched first place in the 1500m with a stellar time of 3:43.27, while Collin Penuel led the Pilots in the 5000m, finishing second at 15:10.27. The women also showcased strong performances, with Jane Roloff securing second place in the 1500m (4:44.41) and Katie Newton taking third in the 5000m (18:37.60).
