AZUSA, Calif. – Day two of the Bryan Clay Invitational saw the Portland Pilots deliver standout performances across the board, highlighted by Laura Pellicoro's school-record run in the Women's 800 Meter Elite race, where she placed fifth overall with an impressive time of 2:01.19.

The Pilots continued their momentum with a wave of personal bests in the 5000-meter races. Jonas Price clocked a 13:39.86 in the Men's 5000 Meter Invite (heat 3), finishing seventh and moving up to No. 4 all-time at Portland. Just behind, Jona Bodirsky ran 13:41.29 in the next heat, earning another seventh-place finish and the No. 6 spot in school history.

In the Men's 5000 Open A heat 2, Trey Gannon turned heads with a 14:03.41 finish for seventh place, while Giuliano Scasso also notched a personal best of 14:13.79. On the women's side, Samantha Prusse ran a strong race in the Women's 5000 Open A heat 2, taking sixth in 16:34.07, another PR for the Pilots.

The day also featured breakout performances from Pilots across multiple sections. Katie Newton posted a personal best of 18:07.12 in the Women's 5000 Open C, while Jane Roloff and Izzy Lochtefeld crossed the line in 17:30.95 and 17:42.52, respectively, in the Women's 5000 Open B. On the men's side, Nolan Hosbein finished the 5000 Open B in 14:39.37. In the Men's 800 Meter Open, Sam Regez ran a personal best time of 1:53.00, capping a strong day for the Pilots across both mid-distance and long-distance events.
