SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The Portland Pilots Men's Cross Country team has been selected to finish third in the 2025 WCC Preseason Coaches Poll with Maebh Richardson earning All-WCC Preseason honors.
 
Richardson was one of the Pilots' key contributors in 2024, scoring in both the WCC Championships and the NCAA West Regional. She placed ninth overall at the WCC Championships, earning All-WCC First Team honors. At the regional meet, she clocked a personal best of 20:16.4, finishing as the Pilots' third scorer.
   
Last season, Pilot women secured second-place team finish at the WCC Championships, with all four top-10 finishers earning All-WCC First Team honors. They are set to open their 2025 season at the Lewis & Clark XC Open on Friday, Aug 29 in Estacada, Ore.
