PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Pilots bounced back with a 2-1 win over Long Beach State on Sunday. It's the first win of the year for the Pilots.

How it Happened
Rademacher opened the scoring with a goal in the 13th minute. Portland got a set piece opportunity that they took full advantage of, with Keeley Dockter sending in a ball that Rademacher rose up to head in. The ball arched over the keeper and into the net, giving Portland the goal.
The Pilots kept the Beach in check before scoring their second and final goal in the 60th minute. With another set piece off a free kick, Nevaeh Peregrina aired it into the box, with Aliyah Dockter collected the poor clearance from Long Beach. Dockter zipped it into the goal for her first score of the year.
The Beach added a goal late, scoring in the 86th minute off a free kick from Radisson Banks. But the Pilots held on the rest of the way for the win.
