SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Latham West was named the WCC Runner of the Week for her impressive performance at the 51st Charles Bowles Invite in Salem, Ore. The freshman set a new course record at Bush's Pasture Park, beating the past record by 10 seconds.
West took the individual win at the cross country invite hosted by Willamette University. She PR'd in the 5K with a time of 16:35.1 and finished more than 24 seconds ahead of the field. West led the way for the Portland Pilots to take second as a team with 70 points.
