SAN BRUNO, Calif. –Portland Pilots guard Nicole Anderson earn WCC All-Academic First Team honors for the Pilots. Dyani Ananiev, Tiffany Barbosa, Florence Dallow, Rhyan Mogel, Lainey Spear and Ella Zimerman all earned honorable mention.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the West Coast Conference selects an all-academic squad for each conference-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team and in at least their second year at their school.
Pursuing her master's, Anderson has been stellar for the Pilots this year. Anderson has averaged 8.2 points per game and 9.7 points in conference play, lighting it up from outside. She's hit 56 3-pointers on 36% shooting, with her 56 3-pointers being tied for the eighth most ever by a Pilot in a single season and the most since Maddie Muhlheim in the 2019-20 season. She scored 20 points against the Gonzaga Bulldogs last Saturday, a season high.
The Pilots finished the regular season at 17-13 overall and 11-7 in WCC play to take fifth in the conference. They are officially the 5-seed in the 2026 Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Basketball Championships, set to play on Saturday, March 7 at 12 p.m. The tournament officially begins on Thursday, March 5 and runs through Tuesday, March 10. All games will be streamed on ESPN+, with the championship being streamed on ESPN2. Check PortlandPilots.com for information on how to follow along or check tournament central with the
