PULLMAN, Wash. – The Portland women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 67 Washington State Sunday inn West Coast Conference action at Hollingbery Fieldhouse.
Portland dropped a competitive doubles point and then pull No. 2 singles player Dariya Radulova from the lineup due to injury. WSU was able to start singles with a 2-0 lead as the Pilots had to default No. 6 singles.
The Cougars clinched with straight set wins at No. 1 and No. 3 singles.
The Pilots earned a road split after coming back to beat Gonzaga 4-3 on Saturday. Portland has two remaining regular season matches but clinched a spot in the six-team 2026 WCC Championships held at Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, Calif. April 23-25 with Saturday's win.
