PORTLAND, Ore.- Portland Pilot Women's Volleyball are hosting the Western Washington Vikings in their only home exhibition match before the regular season begins. The match will take place Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Chiles Center.
Last season, the Pilots went 14-15 overall and 9-9 in WCC play. This was the most conference wins since 2016. Portland also had the most players make All-Conference honors in program history, with three returning players this season. Returners are Maui Robins, Havannah Hoeft and Taina Kaauwai.
Western Washington went 19-7 overall and 13-5 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference last year. The Vikings made the 2025 NCAA DII Tournament as a 6-seed, losing in the opening round.
The first regular season game is against the Portland State Vikings on Friday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. in Chiles Center.
