SAN BRUNO, Calif.- Portland Pilots Havannah Hoeft and Maui Robins have been named to the 2026 West Coast Conference Preseason Team and Portland volleyball was picked eighth in the Preseason Coaches Poll this season.
Senior setter, Havannah Hoeft, started in all 29 games last season. Hoeft made All-WCC First Team last year, led Portland with 919 assists and was tied for the most service aces along with Maui Robins. She is ranked ninth all-time in program history for career assists (1,856) and received WCC Setter of the Week twice last season.
Maui Robins, a fifth year outside hitter, also made All-WCC First Team last year, making her the only Pilot in program history to earn All-WCC in all four seasons. Robins led her team in service aces, along with Hoeft, and became the 22nd Pilot to reach 1,000 career points. She finished last season second of her team in kills (300), second in digs (234), fourth is assists (40) and fourth in blocks (42).
Portland finished the 2025 season with a 14-15 regular season record and 9-9 in WCC play. This was the most conference wins for Portland since 2016. Portland is ranked eighth with 28 points received based on votes made by each WCC volleyball team's head coach.
The San Diego Toreros were picked as WCC Champions with 81 points and nine first-place votes while the Pepperdine Waves were picked second with 72 points and one first-place vote. The LMU Lions were picked to finish third with 59 points.
