SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference unveiled its 2026-27 men's basketball weekly conference matchup schedule on Tuesday. All West Coast Conference teams will play a total of 16 conference games with the league schedule tipping off on January 2.
University of Portland will play all teams both home and away except for Santa Clara (home only) and Seattle U (away only). Season ticket deposits for Pilot basketball are on sale now by visiting
PortlandPilots.com/Tickets or contacting the Pilots Box Office at
pilotsboxoffice@up.edu.
With Denver joining the West Coast Conference in 2026-27, the league will consist of 10 teams for the upcoming season. UC San Diego and UC Santa Barbara will join the league for the 2027-28 season.
The WCC's scheduling format for men's basketball primarily features games on Wednesdays and Saturdays with date flexibility to provide national television partners opportunity to air more league games on additional days of the week. The 2026-27 schedule includes conference games on as many as five days each week.
Weekday games will be played on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, and weekend games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays. The full schedule of game dates, tip-off times and broadcast information will be announced later this fall, following the completion of national television selections with the conference's partners, ESPN and CBS Sports Network.
The
2027 Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Basketball Championship returns to Orleans Arena in Las Vegas for the 19th consecutive year. The 10-team tournament will be held from March 5-9, 2027.
Portland returns six players from last year's squad that won 15 games, including an 87-80 upset victory over No. 6 Gonzaga late in the season, and a pair of games at the WCC Tournament. Head Coach Shantay Legans also added a talented group of nine newcomers to the mix.
