SEATTLE, Wash. - Portland Pilots Volleyball defeated the Seattle U Redhawks in a sweep (25-20, 25-17, 25-21). This is the first WCC win of the season for the Pilots. 

Robins was a standout player recording two match highs across both teams with 16 kills and four service aces. Taina Kaauwai recorded a hitting percentage of .800, raising her average season hitting percentage to .527. 
 

GAME NOTES  

• Portland recorded their fifth straight win of the season and their sixth consecutive win over Seattle U 

• Pilots had their first WCC win of the season 

• Maui Robins had two match high across both teams with 16 kills and four service aces 

• Havannah Hoeft led Portland with 10 digs 

• Kala Chock led the Pilots with three blocks 

• Taina Kaauwai had a hitting percentage of .800 with four kills, bumping her average hitting percentage up to .527 for this season 
   

HOW IT HAPPENED  

SET 1 | Robins put down six of Portland's 12 kills in this set. Hoeft, Kaauwai and Tinoa Woodward-Hart recorded three digs each and Chock had two blocks. The Pilots had a five-point run toward the end of the set and took the set at 25-20. 

SET 2 | Ellie Diehl Palmer and Robins both had four kills in this set, and Robins had a set high across both teams with three service aces. Hoeft had 10 assists and four digs as well. Portland tallied two four-point runs and took the second set 25-17. 

SET 3 | Portland had 17 kills in the last set, with Chock spiking down seven kills and Robins with six kills. The Pilots had 12 team digs with Hoeft, Robins and Woodward-Hard tallying three digs each. Hoeft had 11 assists and Portland won the match, taking the set at 25-21.
