MCMINNVILLE, Ore. - Portland Pilots Men's Cross Country opened the 2026 season with a perfect score of 15 points to take first place at the Linfield Harrier Classic. The College of Idaho placed second with 46 points and Southwestern Oregon Community College came in third at 122 points.
Adam Lippe was the top finisher, claiming a 6K PR of 17:51.4. Lippe managed to overtake fellow teammates Bodie Alderson and Aaron Rovnak, who led the pack throughout the race. Alderson came in second with a PR of 17:51.5 and Rovnak finished third with a PR of 17:54.5. Collin Penuel finished fourth with a PR of 18:05.8 and Mason Morical finished fifth at 18:06.3, another PR, to round out Portland's perfect performance. Eight of 10 Portland runners PR-ed at the Linfield Harrier Classic.
