Hey Pilot Fans!
Remember me? I’m just a lonely goalkeeper who was given the opportunity to relive her blogging days as a guest blog for Kendall! Needless to say I am a bit excited about it (I literally jumped for joy), so I hope I can keep up the high quality that Kendall has graced you all with.
This past weekend we went 1 and 1. On Friday we faced Seattle U and with a bit of a chip on our shoulder from last year’s loss, we were able to come away with the 3-0 win. Unfortunately, Sunday was a bit of a different story as Denver handed us our second loss of the season. We have put that loss behind us and are focused on our next game versus California State University Northridge. A game that we all want to win, but Cruz wants to win just a bit more due to the fact that her sister plays on the team.
When I am not diving all over the ground, studying, or tweeting, I am usually on Stumbleupon.com. For those of you that have not experienced the wonders that Stumble Upon provides you are truly missing out. Stumble Upon allows you to select interests—food, arts, humor, fitness, to name a few—and then it will generate a different website according to your interests every time you click “stumble!” Every once and a while I will stumble upon some website/picture/quote that will remind me of someone I know (usually a teammate). I will then graciously copy and paste the link onto their Facebook wall so that they may enjoy the website/picture/quote as much as I did. This is a little action I like to call “spreading the Stumble cheer.” Now, seeing how most of the people reading this blog have not experienced my “spreading of Stumble cheer” I have decided to include some links to a few things I have stumbled upon.
