• The Pilots beat Saint Mary's 3-0 on Thursday night. This was the first time Portland beat the Bay Area team since 2006.

Â
OFF TO A HISTORICAL START
• The Pilots had not started the season off 11-2 since 1981 when the program competed at the NAIA level.
• Portland went on a ten match win streak through the middle of non-conference play. This was a feat that had never been accomplished while playing at the D1 level. The last time the Pilots won ten in a row was in 1985.
Â
