SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Six Pilots earned WCC All-Academic honors for the 2025 season, the conference announced Thursday. To qualify, student-athletes must participate in at least half their team's competitions, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and be of at least sophomore standing. Nevaeh Bray, Lucia Busso and Maui Robins were named to the All-Academic Team, while Elin Larsson, Taina Ka?auwai and Larkin Chock earned honorable mention.
Bray, a graduate student completing her Certificate in Business Administration this fall, led the Pilots in blocks (78) and ranked fifth in kills (72). She was also named to the inaugural Allstate NACDA Fall Good Works Team in August. This marks Bray's second straight WCC All-Academic Team honor.
Busso, a senior Marketing major, capped her senior year with her strongest collegiate season. She ranked third on the team in kills (279) and blocks (68.0), opened the year on the Vandal Volleyball Invitational All-Tournament Team, and was named WCC Offensive Player of the Week on Nov. 10. She finishes her career with more than 600 kills, 175 blocks and 773.5 points. This is her first WCC All-Academic honor.
Robins, a senior Marketing major, has been a cornerstone for Portland across four seasons. This year, she led the team in service aces (31) and ranked top three in both kills (300) and digs (234). She reached the 1,000-career-kill milestone against Idaho State and ends her career top 10 all-time at Portland in kills, attack attempts and service aces. Robins is the only Pilot in program history to earn All-WCC honors in all four seasons. This is her first WCC All-Academic recognition.
