GREENWOOD, Ind. — Portland graduate student Nevaeh Bray and senior Elin Larsson were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday, Dec. 16.

The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically. To qualify, nominees must compete in at least 90 percent of their team's contests or start in 66 percent of those matches, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and hold at least sophomore academic and athletic standing. Select honorees may advance to Academic All-America consideration.

Bray earned Academic All-District honors for the second time in her career. A key presence in Portland's front row, she started all 28 matches and played in 29 total contests. Bray led the Pilots with 87 total blocks on the season.

Larsson collected her first CSC Academic All-District honor following a standout senior campaign. She paced the Pilots' offense with a team-high 315 kills and appeared in all 29 matches.

The Pilots concluded the season with a 14–15 overall record and a 9–9 mark in conference play, finishing with the program's best season since 2016 and its second-best conference performance in program history.
