THIS WEEKÂ
• The Pilots will host their final two matches of the regular season this week, taking on No.12 San Diego on Thursday night at 7 p.m., and No. 9 BYU on Saturday at 1 p.m.
• Portland was swept earlier in the season on a challenging road weekend in San Diego and Provo.
• Both USD and BYU come to the Chiles Center after two wins over Pacific and Saint Mary's. The Toreros swept both the Tigers and Gaels, while BYU swept Pacific, but dropped one set to SMC to win 3-1.Â
• Thursday night is also CYO night in the Chiles Center. Kids who wear their CYO shirts to the match will get in free, and parents who mention CYO upon arrival at the ticket booth can buy tickets for $3. UP students who come to the match can also enter a raffle to win an Apple Watch.Â
• The Pilots will honor their three seniors, Hannah Troutman, Sarah Savoca, and Morgan Robinson on Saturday against the Cougars.Â
• Both matches will be streamed on theW.tv and live stats can be found for both on PortlandPilots.com. The match against the Toreros will also be televised on NBC Sports Northwest.Â

LAST WEEK
• The Pilots traveled south to Malibu and Los Angeles to take on Pepperdine and LMU
• The Waves first swept the Pilots on Thursday night, before Portland traveled to LMU. On Saturday, the Pilots attempted to make an impressive comeback after a two-set deficit, taking the Lions to five sets. Though the Pilots led in the fifth set, LMU made a comeback of their own to secure the win on their home court for senior day.Â
• Troutman recorded her 14th double-double of the year against LMU, and a career high of 32 kills.Â

ABOUT THE PILOTS
• The program welcomed six true freshmen to The Bluff as one of the top Portland recruiting classes in Pilot history. The newcomers ranked in the top-55 nationally and top-three in the West Coast Conference. Liz Reich and Kassidy Naone hold All-American honors from several publications, while Carey Williams was named to the Defensive Dandy Third-Team.
• The Pilots were picked to place third in conference going into preseason, marking the highest ever vote for the program in the Preseason Poll.Â
• Portland claimed the Rumble in the Rockies tournament title to start the 2017 season and the Pilots were also named the Champions of the Lobo Classic.
• Five different Pilots have earned All-Tournament Honors in their preseason tournaments; Reghan Pukis, Katie Barker, Carey Williams, Cali Thompson, and Hannah Troutman. Thompson was also awarded Most Outstanding setter at the Lobo Classic.
• Barker ranks first in conference in service aces (33) and third in aces per set (.34).
• Thompson is second in league in total assists (996) and third in assists per set (10.38) and service aces (31).
• Pukis is third in the WCC in attacks per set (10.59).

ABOUT THE SENIORS
• Troutman was named tournament MVP to start the season at the Rumble in the Rockies. She currently leads the WCC in attacks per set (12.88) and total attacks (1,236). She ranks second in conference in kills per set (4.31), points (452), points per set (4.71), and total kills (414). Nationally, the Pilot sits at 10th in the nation in attacks per set and 16th in total attacks. Troutman was also named to the All-WCC Preseason team and earned All-WCC First team honors in 2016.Â
• In the UP-record book, Troutman ranks fifth all time in kills (1156), second in kills per set (3.61), third in attack attempts (3696), seventh in digs per set (1028), eighth in points (1309.5), and sixth in points per set (4.13). She is also one of four Pilots in history to be in the 1,000 kills and digs club.Â
• Morgan Robinson earned WCC All-Academic honors for the indoor season in 2015 and 2016. She also claimed All-Academic honors in the Spring of 2017 for beach. She is currently tied at 11th all-time with Troutman in service attempts (1128) in the record books. The Pilot has also recorded over 800 digs and 79 kills in her career.
• Sarah Savoca has played in over 100 matches for the Pilots and ranks seventh all-time in block assists (255) and 13th in total blocks (266). She also has over 580 kills and 265 blocks.
