The University of Portland men's soccer program has announced its summer camps dates and registration is now available. UP offers great kids camps for ages 5-12 and an elite ID Camp for those players 13 and older.
Camp participants can get an early bird discount if they sign up before March 1, and
ONLINE REGISTRATION is available.
Day Camps are focused on teaching fundamental skills and introducing basic game strategies to younger campers. These are outstanding camps for those just learning soccer, or even for those starting to play on teams. Campers are grouped according to age and ability, and campers are supervised 100% of the time by our staff of coaches and student-athletes.
The
College ID Camps, for boys, ages 14-19, is an intense schedule of games and instruction for high school soccer players with extensive competitive soccer experience and an interest in playing soccer at the collegiate level. In addition to field instruction, the senior overnight camp offers a range of soccer-related activities, such as viewing international game film, lectures on conditioning, and a discussion of college options, all contributing to the development of a well-rounded soccer athlete.
The camps' staff is comprised of UP head coach Nick Carlin-Voigt, assistant coach Leonard Griffin, former MLS player and assistant coach Logan Emory, and goalkeeper coach Emerson De Oliveira. Additional college coaches will work the ID Camps.
