University of Portland is well-represented around the world of basketball. In addition to Miami HEAT head coach Erik Spoelstra ('92) and Milwaukee Bucks assistant coach Ben Sullivan ('07), a total of 16 players with Pilot ties are actively playing professionally this season. ALBA Berlin to a victory over the 12th-ranked Telekom Baskets (8-10)Â
93-81Â in the German BBL on Feb. 10. He was MVP of the game. Sikma scored 23 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 29 minutes. ALBA Berlin (14-4) is placed fourth in the BBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Sikma, the BBL MVP last season, has good stats this season 11.7 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.2 apg and 1.3 spg.Â

Eugene 'Pooh' Jeter (5'11''-PG-83, graduated '06, plays in China) was the main contributor in aÂ
Fujian Sturgeons' victory against the 17th-ranked Gold Lions (9-30) crushing themÂ
135-112Â in the Chinese CBA in Wednesday night's game. Jeter was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 34 points and making 10 passes. Jeter also added 8 rebounds. Fujian Sturgeons (22-17) are placed seventh in the CBA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Jeter has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 22.8 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 7.2 apg and 1.1 spg in 29 games he played so far. Jeter is a naturalized Ukrainian who has also competed with the Ukraine National Team.Â

77-73Â in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Feb. 10. Herun was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 10 rebounds. Herun also added 3 blocks in 25 minutes. Cafes Candelas Breogan Lugo (7-12) is placed 14th in the Liga Endesa. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive losses. This season Herun averages 9.6 ppg and 5.4 rpg.Â

Alec Wintering (6'0''-PG-95, graduated '17, plays pro in Holland) helpedÂ
Dutch Windmills Dordrecht win their game against the closely-ranked Groningen (14-7) crushing themÂ
88-59Â in the Dutch Eredivisie on Feb. 10. He was MVP of the game. Wintering scored 19 points and added 3 passes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Dutch Windmills Dordrecht (11-10) is placed fifth in the Eredivisie. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive losses. Wintering has very impressive stats this year 15.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 3.9 apg and 1.1 spg in just seven games after missing extended time with an injury.Â

Nemanja Mitrovic (6'6''-G-90, graduated '12, plays in Mexico) helpedÂ
Santos de San Luis Potosi win their game against the fifth-ranked Correcaminos (17-20)Â
106-98Â in the Mexican LNBP (second division) on Feb. 10. Mitrovic scored 19 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 34 minutes. Santos de San Luis Potosi (12-26) is placed sixth in North group. There are only two games left until the end of the regular season. This season Mitrovic has very high stats. He averages 15.6 ppg, 5.4 rpg and 2.6 apg. Mitrovic has also a Bosnia and Herzegovina passport.Â

Crelan Okapi Aalstar (7-9) in their last game. Despite his good performance, Crelan Okapi Aalstar was crushedÂ
104-74Â on the road by the league outsider (#10) Antwerp Giants. van der Mars had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 11 rebounds. van der Mars has relatively good stats this year 11.8 ppg and 7.1 rpg in 16 games.Â

68-77. Troupe has relatively good stats this year 12.0 ppg, 2.9 rpg and 3.2 apg in 18 games.Â
