T2 plays Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC in an USL fixture later Saturday night. Portland soccer alum Kris Reaves is a defender with the Switchbacks.

The Pilots are coming off a 2-1 win over Denver on April 13 at Merlo Field. The Pioneers have emerged as a perennial playoff contender recently, and in 2016 they reached the NCAA College Cup.
Â
Last fall the Pilots advanced to the NCAA Second Round, which was their second playoff visit since 2016. The Pilots went 12-4-3, defeated UCLA at Merlo Field in the opening round, and reached the second round of the postseason for the first time since 2009.
Â
Oregon State is under the guidance of first-year head coach Terry Boss, who led the Beavers to the NCAA postseason in his first season at the helm. OSU went 11-6-3 last fall, and they earned their second NCAA playoff win in program history to advance to the second round. Boss was also named the Pac-12 Coach of the Year.
