PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots women's basketball team will be playing four non-conference games, which includes home contests against Oregon and Seattle U, it was announced on Tuesday. The Pilots will open the season on the road next week when they travel to Seattle to face the Redhawks on Wednesday, Nov. 25, with tip-off set for 2 p.m.
The following Monday (Nov. 30), the Pilots welcome the No. 10 Ducks to the Chiles Center for an 8:00 p.m. game. A week later Seattle U comes to Portland for another home contest, which is slated for Sunday, Dec. 6 at 12 p.m.
The Pilots are scheduled to play their final non-conference game on Dec. 13 when they travel across town to Viking Pavilion to face Portland State at 2 p.m.
Currently there are no changes to Portland's West Coast Conference schedule, which is set to begin on Dec. 28 against Pepperdine in Malibu, Calif.
There is a possibility the Pilots may add more non-conference games as the season progresses.
Additionally, University of Portland Athletics does not anticipate the ability to have fans at the Chiles Center for the start of the 2020-21 men's and women's basketball seasons due to state regulations. For the health and safety of student-athletes, staff and game personnel, only essential workers will be admitted into the facility to start the season. For more information
