• Alejandro Pereira scored twice while Wesley Frankel put in another goal for Portland.
• Pereira became the first Pilot since 2009 to score twice in a playoff game since Collen Warner did so against New Mexico.
• Pereira's goals make him the team leader in both points (12) and goals scored (5).
• Frankel's goal was his third of the season.
• Kevin Bonilla had two assists on the night, marking the first multi-assist game for a Pilot this season. He is the team leader in assists with five.
• This is the third time since 2016 -- when Nick Carlin-Voigt took over as head coach -- that the Pilots have made the playoffs and the 17th time in program history.
• The Pilots' playoff chances were boosted significantly by beating four teams who rank in the top 40 of the latest RPI rankings.
• They beat the UCLA Bruins (25th), the Loyola Marymount Lions (37th), the Northern Illinois Huskies (23rd) and Seattle U (31st). The Pilots are currently 32nd in RPI.
• Seven players earned All-WCC recognition on Wednesday: Jake Arteaga, George Tasouris, Delentz Pierre, Brian O'Hara, Sebastian Nava, Luke Hendel and Atem Kato.
