PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Pilots routed the Pacific Tigers 6-1 in Portland for their third win of the season. The win marks the second victory in WCC play for the Pilots.

Portland got on the board first with two wins in the doubles matches. The Pilots earned victories in both the No. 1 and No. 2 matches to take the doubles point and make it 1-0 Portland.

The clinching point came early for the Pilots, as Portland swept the first three lines of singles matches to secure the win. Iva Zelic earned her seventh win of the season in the No. 1 singles slot while Neli Sunjic earned her second victory of the season in No. 2 singles make it 3-0 Portland.

Emily Soares clinched the win for the Pilots in the No. 3 singles match. After dropping the first set 6-4, Soares bounced back with dominant 6-3 and 6-1 wins in sets one and two, taking down Elise Frigout and giving the Pilots the winning point. Rimona Rouf and Angela Schuster earned wins in No. 5 and No. 6 singles as well, with the only loss for the Pilots coming in No. 4 singles.
