Box Score SPOKANE, Wash. – Nicolas Ocana and Nikolas Tvedt won three doubles matches this weekend at the ITA Northwest Regionals hosted at the Stevens Center. The duo reached the finals to earn a spot in the upcoming ITA Northwest Super Regional, scheduled for Oct. 21-24 at Stanford.

The junior tandem opened with a comfortable 8-1 win over a team from Eastern Washington and then defeated fellow teammates Issa Yoshida and Cade Fernando in the quarterfinals, 8-4. The semifinals produced a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Oregon's Vlad Breazu and August Gustafson and the finals match was not played.

Yoshida and Fernando picked up an impressive 8-7 victory over Gonzaga's Pablo Gomez Galvan and Arthus de la Bassetiere in the Round of 16.

Ocana and Tvedt also each picked up a singles, before being knocked out in the Round of 16.

The duo will join fellow teammates Sema Pankin and Eleftherios Neos at the ITA Northwest Super Regional in Stanford.
