PORTLAND, Ore. – Pilots men's soccer goalkeeper George Tasouris and Pilots volleyball outside hitter Jayde Harris have been named theU.S. Bank Student-Athletes of the Month for the month of October.
Tasouris earned the honor after after a stellar month between the pipes for Portland. He posted two shutouts on the month and posted a goals-against average of 1.60 across five games. Tasouris was also twice named the WCC Player of the Week in the conference in October, upping his total on the year to three. He's the only Pilot to win the honor three times in one season.
Harris, meanwhile, also earned some significant conference recognition, earning her second WCC Player of the Week honor of the year for her performance against Gonzaga. In that match, she posted 25 kills with a .352 attack percentage. She posted 100 kills total over the month of October. Earlier in the year, Harris became the first Pilot to earn WCC Player of Week since 2018.
