SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference named Maui Robins the Credit Union One WCC Offensive Player of the Week to kick off the 2024 season.
Robins currently leads the team with 65.5 points, 53 kills, and eight service aces. She also tops the WCC in points and service aces, while ranking second in kills. Last weekend, Robins dominated Portland's three matches, achieving double figures in kills with 12, 22 and 19, respectively. In her second match, she recorded a double-double with a match-high 22 kills, 12 digs, and an impressive five aces, leading her team to victory. Robins' outstanding performance earned her a spot on the 2024 Bash at the Beach All-Tournament Team, where she also secured MVP honors.
The Pilots started the season strong with a 3-0 record. Next, they will head to Southern California for the UCI/adidas Invitational in Irvine, Calif. The Pilots will take on the Idaho State Bengals, the Bradley Braves and the UC Irvine Anteaters in a three-day stretch, starting with the Bengals on Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. Check PortlandPilots.com for live stats and video options.
