MALIBU, Calif. -- Due to the Palisades fire and restricted access to the campus, Thursday's women's basketball contest between the Portland Pilots and the Pepperdine Waves down in Malibu has been postponed. The two teams will reschedule for a later date.

The Pilots are 15-2 so far this season, their best start since the 1996-97 season. They will now host the San Francisco Dons for their next game on Saturday, Jan. 11 here at the Chiles Center. The game will be broadcast on Portland's CW, with tipoff set for 5 p.m. Check PortlandPilots.com for live stats, video and ticket options.
