PORTLAND, Ore. – The West Coast Conference announced on Tuesday the conference matchups for the 2026-27 women's basketball season, completing the schedule for Portland Pilots Women's Basketball.

Portland opens conference play on the road against the Pacific Tigers and the Santa Clara Broncos, playing the two teams on Dec. 31 and Jan. 2 respectively. The Tigers went 11-19 overall and 6-12 in WCC play to finish eighth, with Portland taking their lone contest against the Tigers last year. Santa Clara, meanwhile, put together a 24-10 record and 13-5 record in WCC play, qualifying for the WBIT. Portland split their contests against the Broncos last year.

The first home games of the conference schedule will take place on Jan. 7 and Jan. 9, when the Pilots welcome the San Diego Toreros and the Denver Pioneers to the Chiles Center. The Toreros are coming off an 11-22 season, including a 4-14 conference record, with Portland beating the Toreros in their lone matchup. Denver, meanwhile, joins the WCC from the Summit League, posting an 11-19 record overall and a 5-11 conference record last season.

A trip to Southern California follows, with the Pilots playing the LMU Lions on Jan. 14, the Pepperdine Waves on Jan. 16 and San Diego again on Jan. 21. The Lions are the defending regular season champs, finishing 21-10 overall and 15-3 in the WCC for their first regular season title since 2004. Their title qualified them for the WBIT, where they lost in the first round to Stanford. Pepperdine also put together a stellar year, going 21-13 overall and 10-8 in the WCC. Pepperdine played in the WNIT last season, advancing to the Super 16 before falling to South Dakota.

Portland returns to The Bluff to host the San Francisco Dons and the Saint Mary's Gaels on Jan. 23 and Jan. 28. The Dons went 19-15 overall and 9-9 in WCC play while the Gaels were 15-17 on the year and 6-12 against WCC opponents. Portland took both contests against Saint Mary's but dropped their one game against the Dons.

Portland plays Denver on the road on Jan. 30 before hosting the Seattle U Redhawks on Feb. 4. The Redhawks finished last in the WCC with a 5-25 record overall and a 1-17 WCC record. Seattle U marks the last of all new opponents, with the Pilots hitting the road briefly soon after to take on the Dons on Feb. 6.

The Pilots host LMU and Santa Clara respectively on Feb. 11 and Feb. 13 before hitting the road for their final away contests of the year, playing Saint Mary's and Seattle U on Feb. 18 and Feb. 20. The Pilots finish the regular season with home games against the Pacific Tigers and Pepperdine Waves on Feb. 25 and Feb. 27. The 2027 West Coast Conference Basketball Championships will be back at the Orleans Arena, taking place from March 5-9.

The Pilots finished the year at 20-15 overall and 11-7 in WCC play, earning at least 20 wins for the sixth time in seven years and the fifth season in a row. It's the first time in program history the Pilots have posted five straight years of at least 20 wins in a row. They made the WNIT for their seventh straight season qualifying for postseason play, earning two wins to make the Super 16. All seven wins for the Pilots ever in the postseason have come under head coach Michael Meek. They return all eligible players who played last season while adding four newcomers.
