SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Portland Pilot men finished fifth at the NCAA West Regional on Friday, placing two runners in the top 25 and posting four personal bests in the 10K race.

Jonas Price led the Pilots with a fifth-place finish in 29:26.1 PR, earning All-Region honors for the second time in his career. Kgadi Monyebodi joined him on the All-Region list with a 24th-place finish in 29:58.8.

Portland's scoring pack held tight through the middle of the race. Anthony Giesch placed 33rd in a personal-best 30:10.1, followed by Nolan Hosbein in 36th with another PR at 30:14.3. Giuliano Scasso closed out the scoring five for the Pilots in 55th at 30:30.7.

The NCAA Selection Show is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. ET. The NCAA Championships will take place on Nov. 22 at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Mis.
