SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Three Portland Pilots were named to the 2025 WCC All-Academic Team on Thursday, with Nolan Hosbein, Eliason Kabasenche and Jonas Price earning spots on the squad. Four additional Pilots received All-WCC Academic Honorable Mention, including Trey Gannon, Anthony Giesch, KG Monyebodi and Giuliano Scasso.

To qualify, student-athletes must compete in at least half of their team's competitions, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and be of at least sophomore standing.

Hosbein, pursuing a Master of Science in Finance, raced in four meets this season and placed seventh at the WCC Championship to earn All-WCC First Team honors.

Kabasenche, pursuing an MBA, competed in five meets and set PRs in both the 8K and 10K. He won the 50th Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational in a PR of 23:39.8 and was named WCC Runner of the Week. This marks his second straight All-WCC Academic Team recognition.

Price, pursuing a Master of Higher Education and Student Affairs, has led the Pilots all season. Portland finished third at the WCC Championship, followed by a fifth-place team finish at the NCAA West Regional. Price earned All-WCC First Team and West All-Region honors and qualified for nationals, running a 10K PR of 29:21.1.
