SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Portland's Maxim Groysman and Stefan Skobelev were honored as the 2025 West Coast Conference awards were announced on Tuesday by the league office. Groysman was an honorable mention singles selection, while the duo of Groysman and Skobelev also garnered honorable mention doubles recognition.
Groysman, the lone senior on the Pilot roster, anchored the top of the singles lineup and finished with five dual wins this Spring.
Groysman and Skobelev teamed up to post a 5-4 record at No. 1 doubles highlighted by a season-ending 6-3 victory over the ranked Pacific tandem of Ran Amar and Christof Coffey.
Skobelev, a sophomore, is one of six players expected to return for a Pilot squad that finished 7-10 overall this season.
