SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The Portland Pilots Men's Cross Country team has been selected to finish first in the 2025 WCC Preseason Coaches Poll. This marks the third year in a row that the Pilots have been chosen finish first in the WCC Preseason Polls.

The Pilots also had KG Monyebodi, Jonas Price, and Cameron Stein named to the All-WCC Preseason Team. Price joined the Pilots roster this past spring, while returners Monyebodi and Stein were among the team's top finishers at the 2024 WCC Championship. Monyebodi finished in the top 10 as part of the Pilots' scoring five, earning All-WCC First Team honors, while Stein placed 15th to secure All-WCC Second Team recognition.

The Pilots' Men cross country program clinched the team title at the 2024 WCC Championships, with all five scoring-runners earning All-WCC First Team honors. This championship marked the Pilots' first team title since 2014, and the 35th Conference championship in program history. They will open their 2025 season at the Lewis & Clark XC Open in Estacada, Ore. on Friday, Aug 29.
