SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the first time in his career, Ritvik Karra was named the WCC Defensive Player of the Week. He is the first Pilot to win the award this season.
 
Karra was stellar in Portland's 2-0 win over the New Hampshire Wildcats. He had the primary assist on Portland's game-winning goal against the Wildcats and played the full 90 minutes in Portland's shutout victory. The shutout victory for Portland was the first of the year, and it was the third shutout overall for the Pilots.
 
Portland's sitting at 2-3-2 entering conference play. They take on the LMU Lions on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. here at Merlo Field as part of a doubleheader with the women's team. The women's team plays the Pepperdine Waves on Saturday at 3 p.m. One ticket purchase for Saturday buys entry for both contests. Check PortlandPilots.com for tickets, live stats and video options.
