BEAUMONT, Calif. --- The Portland Pilots women’s golf team will have to wait one more day to begin the spring season after the first day of the Lady Braveheart Classic at the Oak Valley Country Club was cancelled due to heavy rain the past two days. The tournament, hosted by UC Riverside, is expected to resume and conclude on Tuesday with an 18-hole round.
Following the Lady Braveheart Classic, the Pilots are next scheduled to take the course at the Red Rocks Invitational at the end of the month. The two-day tourney begins on Saturday, Feb. 28 at Oak Creek Country Club in Sedona, Ariz.
