PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland’s scheduled baseball game on Tuesday afternoon against the Oregon State Beavers at Joe Etzel Field has been postponed indefinitely due to wet weather conditions. UP and OSU are currently working on re-scheduling the game for later in the season. Tickets already purchased for Tuesday will be honored during that make-up date.
The Pilots are coming off a three-game sweep of Southern Utah and are riding a five-game winning streak. Portland, which is a league-best 15-6 on the season, opens West Coast Conference play this week with a three-game set at Santa Clara. The Pilots and Broncos are scheduled to open the series with a 7:00 p.m. game on Thursday night at Stephen Schott Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
