Lions Top Pilots in First Round of WCC Tournament
 
SAN DIEGO, Calif. --- The Portland Pilots women’s tennis team’s season came to an end Wednesday afternoon as the Loyola Marymount Lions posted a 4-0 victory over the Pilots in the first round of the West Coast Conference Tournament.
 
LMU picked up victories in each of the bottom four singles matches to advance to the second round, while neither of the first two matches were completed.
 
No doubles matches were played as the teams elected to reserve those matches in event of a tie after the round of singles.
 
Portland finishes the season with a record of 5-17.
