PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland right-hander Austin Kelly, who is in his first year as a pitcher for the Pilots, was named the 2013 Prep Baseball Player of the Year at the 62nd Oregon Sports Awards, which were held on Sunday, March 9.

Kelly was named the Class 6A Pitcher of the Year after going 9-2 with a 1.49 ERA during his senior season at Clackamas High School. He allowed just 13 earned runs on 38 hits, while fanning 55 in 61.0 innings pitched.

ESPN SportsCenter anchor and University of Oregon alum Neil Everett hosted the 62nd Annual Oregon Sports Awards in the state-of-the-art Stanford Theater at the Tiger Woods Center at Nike World Headquarters.
