PORTLAND, Ore. --- Redshirt senior Logan Orndorf and redshirt junior Katie Barker are the U.S. Bank Student-Athletes of the Month for November after both Pilots helped lead their teams to phenomenal post season performances.

Orndorf helped lead the Portland men's cross country team to their third overall West Region title and their third podium finish in five years. Orndorf finished 13
th at this year's West Regional meet to earn All-West Region honors, and was the 25
th individual at Nationals to claim All-American honors. In 2017, the Pilot finished 36
th at the West Regional, when Portland won their second ever West Region Title. He also crossed the line in 64
th place at the Pilots' 2017 runner-up finish at the 2017 NCAA Championships.

Barker led the Portland volleyball team in November with a total of 46 blocks and was second on the team in kills with 98. The redshirt junior was crucial in the road trip victories against San Francisco and Santa Clara, registering a total of 28 kills, 9 total blocks in both matches. Barker also earned All-WCC Team honorable mention honors for her excellent two-way play. In the WCC post seasons stats, Barker ranks No. 1 in total blocks (15) and is tied for No. 7 in hitting percentage (.333). Barker has helped the Portland volleyball team enter the post-season for the first time in program history, recording a total of 20 wins and marking the most victories in a single season for the program (Portland won 19 matches in 1986, their first season as a D-1 program).Â
