STOCKTON, Calif. --- After playing two-and-a-half innings at Klein Family Field, foul weather halted the West Coast Conference baseball game between the Portland Pilots and Pacific Tigers, and following a lengthy delay the season finale was canceled on Sunday afternoon. The Pilots led the Tigers 4-0 when the game was called.

Portland finishes the season with a 25-27 overall record, and they're 7-19 in the WCC.

Jace McKinney had given the Pilots a 1-0 lead when he singled home Tracye Tammaro in the top of the second inning. A few batters later, Chad Stevens provided a two-run single, pushing the Portland edge to 3-0. Cody Hawken also drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in the top of the third inning before the game was canceled.

National pitcher of the year semifinalist Chris Clements was solid through the first two innings, allowing just one hit, while striking out one.
