PORTLAND, Ore.---The Portland Pilots beach volleyball team is headed back to Salem this weekend for a pairs tournament hosted at Corban University. Three Pilots pairs will compete over the weekend, with matches scheduled on both Saturday and Sunday.
 
Live stats and live video will not be available on either day.
 
Last week, the Pilots began the beach season with an exhibition match against the Warriors, with the teams finishing 3-3 on the day. Shayla Hoeft and Alycia Wodke collected two of Portland's three wins, with the other provided by newcomers pair Krysten Bugarin and Maluhia Hirahara.
 
After this weekend, the Pilots will take a couple weeks break before returning to action on April 3rd and 4th, for more matches against Corban in Salem. Start times for those games are still TBA.
