Box Score PALO ALTO, Calif. – The dynamic Portland doubles tandem of Iva Zelic and Sally Pethybridge have earned an berth at the upcoming ITA National Fall Championships after reaching the finals of the ITA Northwest Regional Championships. The duo won five matches before falling in the finals on Tuesday at the Taube Family Tennis Center.

Zelic and Pethybridge continue a phenomenal fall campaign that has seen them record an 11-3 record thus far against top competition at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic, ITA All-American Championships and now ITA Regionals.

Six other Pilots joined the pair at the regional tournament last week with Rose Watanabe picking up three singles victories and Alaia Rubio Perez, Rimona Rouf and Zelic also earning singles wins.

The ITA Fall National Championships are scheduled for Nov. 2-6 at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif. The Pilots return to action this week with split participants heading to the Gonzaga Invitational and Saint Mary's Invitational events.
