EUGENE, Ore.---Oregon outlasted the Pilots 4-1 in a beach volleyball duals match held at Amazon Park on Tuesday afternoon.

The Portland 2s of Noelani Helm and Charity Bradley defeated the Ducks' duo of Ashley Schroeder and Ella Tyus in three sets, taking the contest with scores of 16-21, 21-16, and 15-11.

"We did a great job today competing against a tough Oregon team," said Pilots coach Dylan Hamilton. "We are looking forward to getting back to practice and improving for our weekend against BSU, Corban and Bushnell."

Portland returns to the sand later this week for the Northwest Invitational in Salem, opening the tournament against Boise State on Friday, March 11 at 10:30 a.m.
