Box Score SPOKANE, Wash. – The Portland women's tennis team completed play Sunday at the Gonzaga Tournament. Freshmen Alaia Rubio Perez and Meagan Pearson each picked up two singles wins on the weekend for the Pilots.

Rose Watanabe also picked up a singles wins on Friday against host Gonzaga. Portland took two doubles matches from Washington State on Friday with Aleksandra Dimitrijevic and Rimona Rouf earing a victory, while the freshmen duo of Pearson and Rubio Perez won as well.

The team will now prepare for the Husky Invitational in Seattle on Oct. 7-9, while nationally-ranked Iva Zelic heads to the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, N.C. with Pre-Qualifying Singles set to start on Saturday, Oct. 1.
