LIBERTY, Ore.  -- The Pilot men secured the victory at the George Oja Linfield Invitational, led by a strong second place finish from Chris Anderson in a time of 24:04.8 for the 8K distance.  

 

Anderson was followed closely by a duo of Pilots who put together personal best performances on the day, including Cohen Williams who finished 7th in a new PR of 24:15.4 and Dalton Kaines in 8th with a PR of 24:16.2. Isaac McGill ran a strong race to finish 10th in the second fastest 8K of his career in 24:20.7. The final Pilot scorer for the day was Lakelin Conrad who finished 13th in 24:35.8 to slash nearly 23 seconds off his previous personal best.  

 

Aidan Fitzgerald also had a strong showing, finishing 18th in 24:46.6 to take 36 seconds off his personal best. Pedro Vazquez finished 22nd in 24:50.9 to PR by about 8 seconds, Kevin Andrews came in 33rd in 25:08.6 for a 13 second best and Connor Kennedy finished 42nd in 25:16.8 to run a 2 second PR on the day. Evan DeLaCruz (62nd, 25:45.9), Nico Grillo (70th, 25:56.0) and Jack Klines (114th, 26:42.6) also put up strong performances for the Pilots.
