SALEM, Ore. -- The Pilots split match wins today with Bushnell University, beating the Beacons 4-1 in the first dual and dropping the second 2-3.

Of the scoring matches, the Portland 1s duo of Jayde Harris and Grace Zilbert were the lone Pilot duo to win both of their matches (21-15, 21-8 and 21-11, 21-12). However, Pilot 6s duo of Jordan Bardouche and Michela Strati were able to claim victory in both of their matches (21-14, 21-10 and 17-21, 21-12, 15-11, respectively).

Pilot sweeps for the day included Portland 5s duos of Charity Bradley and Keilani Mumolo and 4s duo of Elin Larsson and Sophie Lee in the first and second matches with scores of 21-17, 21-15 and 21-16, 21-11, respectively.

Due to the matches being postponed, the Pilots will face Corban University on Wednesday Mar. 15, 2023 at 2 and 4 p.m. Both matches will take place at the Corban Beach Courts in Salem, Ore.
