Stockton, Calif. -- The Pilots bounced back from two matches yesterday to earn their first win of the season against the Pacific Tigers with a score of 3-2.
The Pilots swept the Tigers through three sets, solidifying their victory overall. In each of these matches, the Portland 1s (Jayde Harris/Grace Zilbert), 3s (Taylor Helle/Noelani Helm) and 5s (Michela Strati/Sophie Lee) duos shut down the Tigers in only two sets in each match.
The Pilots return to action tomorrow, March 3rd, in two matches with the San Jose State Spartans, set to begin at 11 a.m. and then again at 2 p.m.
